Think of these controller and control component work as your cart’s command center. The motor controller (or speed controller) is the core “brain”—it regulates the power flow from the batteries to the motor based on your throttle input, dictating acceleration, torque, and top speed.
Supporting this are control wiring harnesses, the “nervous system” that carries all critical signals; the electrical box, a protective “skull” that houses components and shields them from the elements; and the programmer, a specialized tool that acts as a “brain surgeon,” allowing for custom tuning of speed, torque curves, and other parameters.
