The story of DRIVE UP begins with our two founders, Diane and Eric. They started their journey together in the golf cart accessories industry, where they accumulated nearly two decades of deep technical expertise and hands-on know-how. Behind The Spark of Inspiration
For Diane, the inspiration struck while watching "MULLIGAN" — a documentary showcasing inspiring golfers who refused to be defined by limitations. Witnessing players step out of their golf carts to make every swing and putt with absolute confidence and precision sparked a realization. Diane understood that a golf cart is far more than just a vehicle — it is a reliable companion that helps people get where they want to go, both on and open the course. With so many generic parts on the market causing unreliable driving experiences, the vision for DRIVE UP became clear: to build parts that people can truly depend on.
Meanwhile, Eric found his own inspiration through conversations with cart owners and golf enthusiasts. He observed a clear trend: golf's appeal was expanding across generations, and more people than ever loved modifying and maintaining their own carts. However, they constantly struggled with high market costs and the frustration of finding parts that perfectly fit their specific models. Eric realized that their manufacturing expertise could address this exact gap.
